SUZHOU, China - Suzhou''s city government announced on Monday that the city will bid for the right to host a 2024 UEFA Champions League match.

City government officials said they would put in a formal bid to European soccer governing body UEFA to stage one of the Champions League matches at Wuhan''s 50,000-seat stadium during the 2024 season.
